The kit manual for the 1/100 Scale Full Action ZZ Gundam, released in July 1986, included a chronology tracing the development of the Gundam-series mobile suits. This was also one of the very first timelines to cover Mobile Suit Gundam, Z Gundam, and Gundam ZZ. Gundam Wars II: Mission ZZ, published by Dai Nippon Kaiga in February 1987, featured a revised and expanded version with references to several original Gundams from Model Graphix magazine. I've combined both versions in this composite timeline, with revisions and additions from Gundam Wars II: Mission ZZ in color text.
